Rodney Gordon McCord

MINEOLA – A graveside service for Rodney McCord, 95, of Mineola were held January 25 at Cedars Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mineola with Bob Smith conducting.

Mr. McCord died January 22, 2018, in Mineola. He was born October 1, 1922, in Bethesda, Tennessee to the late Gordon and Mary McCord. He was a retired supervisor for Shell Oil Company and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Houston.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Ernest, Dale, William and Richard.

He is survived by his wife, Paula McCord of Mineola; daughter, Gaye Clayton of Lindale; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
