Ronnie Earl Washington 1962-2024

Ronnie Earl Washington, of Quitman, passed away on Aug. 3, 2024 at age 62.

Ronnie was born June 17, 1962 in Dallas to Willie Washington Sr. and Juanita Washington. His education began at Charles Rice in Dallas, and later at Quitman High School after his family moved to Quitman. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country for three years. He was a member of Muddy Creek Baptist Church. Ronnie was also a truck driver for most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers. 

He is survived by three brothers, Bobby of Quitman and Gregory and Robert Earl of Dallas; and five sisters, Alberta, Lashun, Sheila, MaryAnn and Debra of Dallas.

Ronnie’s body will lie in state from noon until 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2024 at Lowe-Gardner Funeral Home. 

Funeral service will be held at Lowe-Gardner Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024 at 11 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Muddy Creek Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends during visitation one hour before the service, beginning at 10 a.m.
