The Quitman Rotary Club will host a community blood drive in partnership with Carter BloodCare and is inviting area residents to donate blood to help meet the needs of local patients.
The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at JOY Hall at First United Methodist Church, 207 N. Goldsmith St. in Quitman.
Blood donations are needed throughout the year, and organizers encourage both returning and first-time donors to participate. Donors will receive a special gift while supplies last.
