Rotary training
Roy Shockey of Mineola Rotary Club and Greg Hollen of Quitman Rotary Club attended the Rotary Lone Star president-elect training at DFW Hyatt this weekend.
The three-day gathering brought over 800 presidents-elect and president nominees from Texas, southwest Arkansas and southern Oklahoma to learn about expanding the Rotary service efforts in the area and eradicating polio.
Attendees also heard incoming President Gordon McInally from Scotland discuss his personal family story and commitment to help fight depression and suicide.
