Sampson wins competition
Cassandra Sampson, Mineola city council member, is congratulated for winning the mayor’s challenge for Meals on Wheels by Miranda Asmussen, marketing and pubic relations director for Meals on Wheels East Texas. Sampson stood in for Mayor Jayne Lankford, right, who told Sampson that she can have the job permanently. Sampson wore bright colors while helping to pass out Meals on Wheels.
