Service clubs planning car show

A car show to benefit four Mineola service clubs is planned Saturday, June 3 at the Mineola Civic Center.

The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and proceeds go to the projects of the Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, Lions Club and Pilot Club.

Entry fee is $30 and due by May 26.

There will be trophies and cash prizes for cars and trucks, all makes and years.

Events will include food, music and drawings. Awards will be presented at 4 p.m.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
