Shirley Jean Dale of Quitman went home to be with our Lord on Jan. 21, 2024. She left behind her loving husband of 60 years, Wendell Dale; her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Monica Dale of Dallas; her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Clarke Grattet of Quitman and her daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Jeff Chandler of Scurry. She also was blessed with her beloved grandchildren, Clarke, Carolyn, DeeJay and Zack Grattet, Ryan and Brittany Chandler, and William and Alex Dale. She was also blessed with the love of great-grandchildren, Hunter, Ivy, Brycen, David, Lizzy, Aiden, Bentley, Gracie, Zeke, Myles, Colton, Emma and Finn.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
