St. Dunstan dedicates marker
A Texas historical marker was unveiled Sunday morning at Church of St. Dunstan’s in Mineola. The Episcopal church was established in 1947. Ground was broken for the first building in 1948 on N. Johnson St. and the first service held the following year. Cazzie and Dr. Milton Husbands unveiled the marker, and Dr. Husband read the inscription. At right, Jimmy Phillips with the Wood County Historical Commission gave remarks, along with County Judge Kevin White. Celia Boswell gave the welcome.
