Wisener Field hosted a fly-in to celebrate Independence Day and the airport’s 107th birthday last Thursday. A full pancake breakfast was put on for the aviators, aviation fans and family. The event was hosted by the Experimental Aircraft Association chapter 1475, Mike Strauss, president. Above, Eric Wiggins and his team brought their balloon, ‘Calypso’ to Wisener Field. Although winds prevented flight, it certainly added color to the morning’s fly-in.
