Wood County Commissioners Court buys oil from alternate vendor
The Wood County Commissioners Court passed all items on the Jan. 20 agenda.
The agenda included an emergency purchase of crude oil from another source. The item referred to a lack of supply from current vendor 84 Energy, according to Misty Goldman, the Wood County Commissioners Court Office Manager, Coordinator, and Grants Administrator. Until the company gets their affairs settled, said Goldman, the Wood County contract allows the court to purchase road oil from an alternate vendor. The District Attorney will review the contract before the county discusses how to proceed with 84 Energy.
The agenda also included annual racial profiling reports for the Wood County constables, sheriff’s office, and fire marshal, as well as approval of three re-nominations to the Wood County Emergency Services District #1.
