Wood County Hospital District seats up for election
The Wood County Central Hospital District is among the entities with seats to be decided in the May 2 municipal elections.
The four incumbents holding those positions are Dr. Paul Driver, Orval Lindsey, Kevan Burroughs and Jan Gorman.
The filing deadline is Friday, Feb. 13.
Terms are for three years. Candidates must reside within the Quitman school district boundaries.
The remaining three board positions will be up for election next year.
The board has not held an election in many years, as none of the seats have been contested. Entities may cancel elections if there are no contested positions.
