Wood County records fifth death from COVID-19

Wood County recorded its fifth death from COVID-19, according to the Wednesday report from the Northeast Texas Public Health District.
The county's total case count was unchanged from Monday, at 51, and the number of recoveries also remained static, at 22.
The fifth death was in Winnsboro, as were the previous four.
The number of residents tested through June 9 is 729, according to the state.
