June 22

Deputy Whisenhunt, fraud; caller’s bank had been hacked, account information compromised, noticed multiple fraudulent charges, would like to file report, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Mayer, disturbance, Holiday Village; victim had been assaulted, bleeding from face. CPS contacted due to children at residence. Kathryn O’Connor, 45, Quitman arrested for assault family violence impeding breathing. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, fraud; victim notified someone had been using social security number for employment purposes, notified to contact credit bureaus, get report to check for fraudulent activity, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, disturbance, Private Road 8565; victim’s brother who has dementia assaulted her, caused damage to residence, deputies unable to locate subject, later found in the woods with injuries, transported by EMS for medical treatment. 

June 23

Deputy Whisenhunt, burglary, FM 2869; caller had key to his house outside, believed someone knew where key was, entered building, no forced entry, caller missing multiple items, case  forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Milbourn, theft; caller believed daughter had stolen checks, cashed them, had endorsed both checks, later missing, also caught daughter using credit cards without permission, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Pollard, theft, Hwy. 37; victim advised left truck at a residence, when he came back it was gone. Possible suspect advised he bought truck, had not transferred title, suspect then left in vehicle, pulled over later, vehicle towed. 

Deputy Morrison, theft, County Road 1660; victim believed two people she knew took items from property while there a few days prior, believes two suspects have taken stuff previously, case forwarded to investigations.

June 24

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, FM 1801; victim stated being threatened with gun; deputy located suspect in roadway near victim’s residence, he hid in woods. After deputy located suspect, firearm not located. Multiple witnesses observed suspect to have firearm, threaten victim. Darek Curts, 21, Mineola arrested for deadly conduct. 

Deputy Rapp, criminal mischief, Lake Hawkins; caller advised group of teens caused damage to business’s bathroom, would like to press charges. Caller did not have possible suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Atkinson, theft, South Main, Yantis; caller advised someone stole trailer from business during night, provided trailer’s details, entered as stolen. 

Deputy Kovic, criminal mischief, FM 49; mailbox damaged multiple times, is only one ever damaged. Caller believes may be family member she had issues with, case forwarded to investigations.

June 25

Deputy Kovic, disturbance, County Road 2503. Deputy unable to locate suspect who left scene; victim advised there was argument, did not want to press charges, victim had scratches, red marks. 

Deputy Mayer, disturbance, Holiday Villages; victim found on floor struggling to breathe, EMS called, subject advised friend choked him during argument; suspect advised she was assaulted, attacked victim to defend herself, victim did not want to pursue charges, protection order filed. 

Deputy Rapp, theft, County Road 3118; caller had thrown items into trash bin, when she came out later, bin was missing, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Gould, criminal trespass, County Road 3810; caller has had issues with neighbors being on property, wanted them criminally trespassed, neighbors advised they would like to criminally trespass caller as well. All parties issued warnings. 

June 26

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, Hwy. 154; caller and daughter arguing, wanted her removed, daughter criminally trespassed, left residence.

Deputy Hughes, disturbance, County Road 2275; victim drove up to address, friend began to yell at her, male suspect grabbed victim’s arm, caused a laceration. Brian Reichel, 26, Mineola arrested for assault family violence. 

June 27

Deputy Croney, FM 2088, theft; someone stole solar panel off gate, caller believes neighbors may have camera that caught incident, neighbors advised they did not have camera, victim did not want to press charges.

Deputy Croney, theft, FM 852; caller believed someone stole dog from residence, did not have suspect, did not wish to pursue charges.

Deputy Morrison, terroristic threat, County Road 1660; victim advised male subject assaulted her dog, became aggressive, pointed cross bow at her, male fled on foot, later located. James Richey, 29, Alba  arrested for aggravated assault with deadly weapon. 

June 28

Deputy Croney, child endangerment, Hwy. 37; caller saw child playing near road, family members denied child was in front yard, mother advised she had previous CPS case, case forwarded to CPS.

Corporal Cooper, traffic stop, County Road 4530; vehicle came over  top of hill on his side of road causing him to have to pull over, vehicle registration showed expired, vehicle fled for 1.5 miles, ran through fence, later discovered driver hit dog on property, property owner wished to pursue charges. Thomas Fitzgerald, 54, Winnsboro arrested for cruelty to non-livestock animal, evading arrest with motor vehicle, driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
