September 21

Deputy Burdick, possible assault, Holiday Villages; suspect stated he was told to bring narcotics to residence, victim advised she did not ask for narcotics, husband proceeded to engage in altercation with subject, criminal investigations division will be investigating.

Investigator Bowring, missing vehicle; victim advised when he went outside, he observed daughter had taken car without permission, victim has heard from multiple people daughter is driving car, caller wished to pursue charges.

Sgt. Williams, suspicious person, FM 2225; deputies located male who could not walk, had slurred speech laying against vehicle, located marijuana inside vehicle and paraphernalia. Kameron McGary, 35, Sulphur Springs arrested for public intoxication.

Sgt. Cox, theft, County Road 4539; caller believed son had taken money out of safe while they were moving, caller wished to pursue charges, case forwarded to investigations.

September 22

Deputy Kovic, terroristic threat; caller played multiple voicemails from suspect threatening her, caller advised what to do if person shows up, case forwarded to investigations.

September 23

Deputy Hughes, suspicious circumstance, County Road 2330; caller saw vehicle in yard with lights off, when she confronted driver, they drove off, caller later discovered it was nephew leaving trailer at her residence, caller wished to have trailer removed from property.

Deputy Gould, theft, Private Road 7850; caller had pictures of someone on property taking items, still waiting on pictures, case forwarded to investigations.

September 24

Deputy Morrison, stalking; complainant advised girlfriend’s ex has been trying to call him multiple times, complainant recently driving, observed suspect follow him, wished to pursue charges. 

Deputy Croney, theft, Hwy. 154; victim discovered someone had broken into storage unit, property owner stated cameras weren’t working, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Morrison, theft, County Road 3390; caller observed side by side missing, found gate open, could have been from oil company leaving it open, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, disturbance, County Road 4586; someone came onto caller’s property to serve papers, pointed gun at him, other party stated after he tried to serve papers, caller started yelling at him, second party brandished weapon to scare caller off, case forwarded to investigations.

September 25

Sgt. Williams, terroristic threat, County Road 1558; victim advised suspect at residence yelling at him and threatening. Deputy heard disturbance at suspect’s residence, who opened door, shut and locked it in front of deputies. Christopher Hohenstein, 54, Alba arrested for assault family violence. 

Deputy Burdick, assault after the fact, UT emergency room, victim stated she was assaulted, showed multiple bruises, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, criminal mischief, Yantis; someone busted out back window of vehicle, caller did not have suspects, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, house fire, FM 2869; male on scene provided false name to deputies, had active warrants. Dalton Rogers, 40, Scroggins transported to Wood County Jail.

September 26

Sgt. Cox, theft, FM 17; caller had missing package that mailing company showed delivered. Cox spoke with homeowner where package was left who stated he had package at work, package has not been returned.

Cpl. Baldwin, theft, County Road 3803; caller observed item missing from yard, believes neighbors possibly took it and have been avoiding it. Baldwin took photos of footprints where item was stolen, case  forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Cox spoke to caller who had someone work on camper and not giving it back, suspect has given multiple excuses, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Burdick, disturbance, FM 1647; victim and ex got into argument, became physical. Both parties had scratches and bruises, victim advised she was hit and choked multiple times. Andrew McLemore, 31, Winnsboro arrested for assault impeding breathing-family violence.

September 27

Sgt. Cox, disturbance, County Road 1998; victim and husband got into argument, he hit her, suspect stated his wife slapped him, he then hit her. David Newberry, 64, Yantis arrested for assault by contact. 

Deputy Rapp, theft; caller went into a store, when he came out, noticed equipment missing from boat, did not have suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Cox, disturbance, County Road 4860; when victim came home, suspect was upset, yelling at her, headbutted victim, made threats. Victim hit suspect with bottle to get him away, he choked her. As victim ran outside, got into vehicle, suspect busted out window. Sean McCown, 23, Winnsboro arrested for assault family violence.

Deputy Gould, noise complaint, County Road 4539; observed vehicle leaving residence, omitted odor of marijuana, license plate light out. When vehicle pulled over, passenger got out, went to front of car where Gould located backpack with crystal substance in it. Lacey Henson, 37, Winnsboro arrested for possession of marijuana, manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance and tamper/fabricate physical evidence.
