February 22

Sgt. Cox, theft, County Road 4918; someone stole multiple game cameras from property, owner provided possible suspect.

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Kovic, welfare check, County Road 4536; mother advised to take child to ER to be checked, refused, deputies able to get mother to take child.

Cpl. Baldwin, burglary, County Road 2150; someone broke window, stole multiple items, list of missing items made, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, Hwy. 80; passenger, had multiple warrants. Adrianna Jacobs, 24, Grand Saline arrested for outstanding warrants.

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, Golden area; crystal substance located in vehicle, arrest made for possession of controlled substance.

February 23

Sgt. Cox, suspicious person, FM 2869; female loading items into car from residence, determined person moving items around in vehicle.

Deputy Kovic, criminal mischief, County Road 1513; someone drove through pasture, got stuck, property owner wished to pursue charges for damage, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Kovic, shots fired, County Road 1917; caller’s neighbor shooting gun, neighbor stated cows kept getting on his property, attempting to scare them off. Deputy located malnourished cow, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Gould, suspicious person, County Road 4139; individual left multiple items in roadway, observed to be intoxicated. Richard McLemore, 66, Winnsboro arrested for public intoxication.

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, Hwy. 69; driver had multiple warrants. Tania Patenburg, 40, Emory arrested for outstanding warrants.

February 24

Cpl. Cooper, theft, County Road 3170; property owner closed on residence previous day, air conditioning unit missing, advised possible suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, Deputy Comeaux, criminal mischief, Holiday Village; male hit gate, caused damage. Insurance information exchanged.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Burdick; suicidal subject, County Road 2359; subject eventually admitted to taking multiple pills, able to get transported by EMS for treatment. 

Two transports.

February 25

Cpl. Rapp, assist Alba police, disturbance; suspect fled, deputies unable to locate, suspect returned later causing problems, arrested by Alba PD.

Deputy Way, harassment; caller’s ex-husband called multiple times after she previously reported harassment, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Way, criminal mischief, Holly Lake Ranch; security guards advised person drove through gate causing damage, subject has run through gate multiple times, case forwarded to investigations.

February 26

Corporal Rapp, Deputy Way, disturbance, Holly Lake Ranch; parties advised having custody exchange when things became physical, parties did not wish to pursue charges.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Way, missing person, County Road 3289; mother stated she got into argument with son who left residence. Deputies located juvenile, returned to residence.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rapp, disturbance, County Road 235; both parties intoxicated, stories not matching, neither wished to pursue charges.

February 27

Deputy Kovic, burglary, County Road 1835; someone broke into shop, stole multiple items and RV, provided list of possible suspects, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Gould, Deputy Kovic, disturbance, FM 2088; deputies located suspect, did not have knife as reported, victim stated she was assaulted the night before by suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Gould; victim advised he paid someone to work on residence, had done work wrong, victim provided information what to do next.

February 28

Cpl. Baldwin, theft, FM 778; property manager advised someone stole copper wire from property again, case forwarded to investigations. 

Cpl. Baldwin, terroristic threat, Hawkins; victim received phone call from ex-boyfriend to get her to drop charges, when she said no, he threatened to kill her, victim then saw ex-husband in public, he made threatening gestures, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Gould, disturbance, County Road 3940; parties fled scene, Hawkins PD officer located male, did not wish to pursue charges, deputies unable to contact female.

Deputy Arellano, welfare check, Hwy. 80; deputies located child near roadway, parents stated grandparents watching child, grandmother advised she went to cook, when she came back, child missing, CPS contacted.

Deputy Hughes, disturbance, Hwy. 37; victim had been assaulted, deputies unable to locate suspect, later located hiding under house. James Girard, 27, Quitman arrested for active warrant, assault.

Deputy Arellano, welfare check, FM 14; victim had multiple warrants. Danica Rockwell, 36, Hawkins arrested for active warrants.
