October 4

Cpl. Rapp, disturbance, Hwy. 154; victim advised he was assaulted and did not make any advancements toward suspect, suspect advised victim tried to strike him first, he was defending himself, case forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Sepulvado, Cpl. Rapp, warrant service, Adult Probation. Dabire Prince arrested for outstanding warrant.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Haley, disturbance, CR 3289; mother advised son assaulted her and husband, did not wish to pursue charges, step father did, son detained, released to juvenile probation.

Deputy Haley, stolen vehicle, CR 2843; victim wanting to report car stolen, discovered she was behind on payments, it had been repossessed. 

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Way, welfare check, Hwy. 154; deputies could not see anyone in residence or hear any noise, entered home, located subject having medical emergency.

October 5

Sgt. Cox, missing dog, Yantis; victim believes someone took dog due to its value. 

Sgt. Cox, criminal mischief; caller stated building damaged by someone trying to break in, incident report completed.

Deputy Kovic, assault, Holiday Villages; female assaulted victim, left scene prior to deputies’ arrival, unable to locate suspect, offense report completed. 

Deputy Kovic, theft, CR 1942; victim advised son, girlfriend stole money off her Medicare card, offense report completed.

Deputy Comeaux, scam, CR 4560; victim contacted fake number for Fitbit that requested CashApp information, money was taken.

Deputy Comeaux, theft, FM 2869; property owner stated someone cut lock on gate, stole trailer, other items from residence.

October 6 

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Smith, welfare check; deputies entered residence, located subject deceased, autopsy ordered.

Deputy Cato located male stumbling in ditch, CR 2201; Richard Gregory arrested for public intoxication.

Deputy Cato, terroristic threat; caller stated ex was sending threatening text messages, awaiting texts to complete offense report. 

Cpl. Smith, traffic stop, FM 17; Ernesto Aragonez arrested for possession of controlled substance.

October 7

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, structure fire, CR 1580; large structure, skid steer fully engulfed, another large structure, camper also burned. 

Cpl. Croney, aggressive dog, CR 2150; possible owner, Misty Wheeler, found to have active warrant, placed in custody.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, Deputy Pollard, subject with firearm, FM 1483; witnesses advised male blocking roadway with vehicle, pointed rifle at them; suspect stated truck broke down, believed people were following him, suspect transported to be evaluated.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Cato, assault, Private Road 6209; victim left scene after verbal disturbance, when she returned, was assaulted, suspect Adrian Williams arrested for assault. 

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Rich, disturbance, FM 14; victim stated daughter became upset, put knife to his throat, then put shotgun to victim, pulled trigger, gun not loaded, suspect fought deputies, attempted to kick out patrol vehicle windows, Hazel Gage arrested for aggravated assault, resisting arrest. 

October 8

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, Deputy Pollard, disturbance, CR 2163; caller came to pick up child, father displayed knife; parties advised knife never displayed, incident report completed.

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Cato, verbal disturbance, CR 2280; argument started over someone borrowing vehicle, pulling trailer without owner’s permission, only verbal, no offense occurred. 

October 9

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Skinner, vehicle accident, Hwy. 182; located vehicle that went off roadway, struck tree; driver Samantha Furrh found deceased. 

Deputy Skinner, animals out, CR 1800; neighbors’ animals out again, on caller’s property, ropers contacted to remove animals.

Deputy Comeaux, tractor in road, CR 3940; constable checked tractor earlier in day, now in roadway, wrecker notified, advised would need crane to remove tractor.

October 10

Deputy Skinner, theft; caller advised after moving company brought items, she was unable to locate firearm, entered as stolen.

Cpl. Rapp, theft report, FM 2869; property owner advised chainsaw stolen from building, entered as stolen.

Lt Milbourn, Cpl. Rapp, warrant service, Mineola; Jase Goode arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Comeaux, unknown object, CR 1124; located weather balloon.

Deputy Comeaux, disturbance, CR 3909; victim’s step son attempted to break into room, wished to press charges. Jason Alexander arrested for assault.

October 11

Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Morrison, assault after the fact; caller received pictures of bite marks on her daughter who stated her ex bit her, case forwarded to investigations.

Lt. Milbourn, Lt. Kovic, Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Kato, shots fired,  CR 4837. On scene, the victim advised his window was shot out. Deputies contacted neighbor who advised he was shooting at animal, bullet ricocheted, victim did not wish to press charges, offense report completed.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Cato, damaged property, CR 3220; someone cutting down trees without property owner’s permission, deputies did not locate suspect.

October 12

Cpl. Croney, criminal mischief, CR 2332; victim advised his car’s gas cap was on top of vehicle, crystal substance located around opening, incident report completed.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Rich, structure fire, Alba; structure fully engulfed, no one hurt.

Cpl. Smith, missing juvenile; family advised they located juvenile walking down highway.

October 13

Sgt. Cox flagged down, CR 3600; someone cut lock on property, owner has found people fishing without permission, area put on extra patrol.

Sgt. Cox, Cpl. Rapp, suicidal subject, Holly Lake Ranch; victim told deputies she had already taken multiple pills, went with EMS to receive treatment.

Deputy Comeaux, suicidal subject, Jarvis. When deputy arrived, security advised EMS had already taken subject.

October 14

Cpl. Rapp, terroristic threat, CR 2280; suspect had fled scene. Deputies located suspect, Heath Matthews, arrested for terroristic threat. 

Cpl. Rapp, building check, CR 2280; front door observed open, cleared building, building owner notified.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Cato, criminal mischief, Hwy. 154; tenant threatening to slash property owner’s  truck tires. Deputies observed tires to be flat, later discovered vehicle owner ran over something.

Deputy Way, traffic stop, Hwy. 154; driver refused vehicle search, canine contacted, had positive alert, deputies located crystal-like substance, driver Jimmy Heimann arrested for possession of controlled substance. 

October 15

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Skinner, explosion, CR 3270; crane contacted power lines causing loud explosion, three transformers to blow. 

Cpl. Rapp, harassment; caller advised while she was at viewing for her brother, family members harassed her, followed her outside, incident report completed.

Deputy Way, burglary, Private Road 7995; caller stated previous tenants showed up on property, forced entry into residence. Deputy observed back door forced open. 

Sgt. Mayer, request to speak; caller requesting vaccine records on dog that bit her son, who was going back to hospital because dog bite became infected, dog owner provided records.

October 16

Deputy Pollard, theft, Hwy. 11; caller advised he is with water company, located someone stealing water from meter, offense report completed.

Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Pollard, animal complaint, CR 4105; deputies observed multiple dogs had attacked a colt. Due to dogs being complained on before, they were deemed dangerous, taken to Sheriff’s Office.

Captain Chilson, Sgt. Ragsdale, Cpl. Croney, disturbance, CR 3145; victim advised male at his residence, argument began to get the male to leave, male left residence to retrieve firearm, deputies located suspect with loaded firearm. Daniel Baker arrested for terroristic threat.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Smith, major accident, Loop 564; deputies spoke with male not involved in accident, found to be intoxicated. Dean Stone arrested for public intoxication.

Cpl. Smith, burglary, FM 14; caller stated storage building had been broken into, deputy observed two units having damage, case forwarded to investigations.

October 17

Deputies, burglary in progress; victim could see on his camera teenagers attempting to steal items from yard, suspects fled on foot, not located, offense report completed. 

Deputy Rich, Quitman ER, dog bite; victim was young child who was bit in face by family dog. Vaccine records were out of date, family contacted vet to retrieve dog.

Cpl. Smith, request to speak; nurse from Tyler requested information on patient who had been assaulted, deputy got statements from victim, possible suspect identified.
