December 20

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Pollard, terroristic threat on FM 17; employee threatened by guest who did not want to leave, subject, Tony Gonzales, found to have active warrant, arrested. At jail, crystal-like substance found on him, charged with possession of controlled substance, prohibited substance in correctional facility.

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Wade, theft; located suspect who was intoxicated. Family members advised they had been assaulted by suspect. Nicole Myers arrested for assault.

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Cato, Deputy Wade, mental health call; victim advised son made threats, assaulted her, suspect transported by EMS for treatment.

December 21

Cpl. Croney, animal complaint, CR 2205; dog had been roaming neighborhood, became aggressive, owner contacted, issued citation for failure to vaccinate.

Deputy Pollard, animal complaint, CR 4740; neighbor’s dogs attacked and killed caller’s dog. Deputies attempted to contact owner who had language barrier, follow up will be completed.

Deputy Cato, harassment, CR 3984; caller’s neighbors have been playing loud music purposely, shining lasers into home. Deputies contacted female next door who stated male had been doing things purposely. Video footage provided, offense report for harassment completed.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, Cpl. Smith, assault, CR 2166; male showed security footage  of physical altercation with man and spouse. Deputies observed male, Joshua Meyer, impede spouse’s breath by choking, he was placed in custody, female, Amber Carrigan, also arrested for assault. CPS contacted.

Deputy Rich, burglary, FM 288; someone came into residence, took cash, no signs of forced entry, offense report completed.

December 22

Cpl. Rapp, theft, CR 2771; during night someone stole firearm from vehicle, entered as stolen.

Deputy Haley, animal complaint, CR 3878; victim advised neighbor’s dog killed his dog. Deputies contacted neighbor who admitted dog was aggressive, wanted to surrender it, given options for dog.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Burdick, disturbance, CR 4919; victim stated husband was intoxicated, yelling at her; male refused to give any information, resisted officers. Nathan Ramsey arrested for interference with public duty, failure to ID, resisting arrest. 

Deputy Haley, theft, CR 3992; firearm stolen from vehicle, offense report completed, firearm entered as stolen.

December 23

Cpl. Rapp, animal complaint, CR 1900; neighbors’ cows got out again, eating large amount of hay, incident report completed. 

Cpl. Rapp, burglary, CR 1215; someone broke into shop, stole tools, offense report completed. 

Deputy Skinner, Quitman Animal Clinic, animal complaint; victim located dogs dropped off on county road, one deceased, dogs recovered to find homes.

December 24

Deputy Haley, Deputy Way, overdose, FM 14. EMS checking patient, deputies searched for narcotics, nothing located, victim transported to receive treatment.

Deputy Skinner, structure fire, Hawkins; RV not occupied during fire, fire marshal notified.

December 25

Cpl. Smith, disturbance, Hwy. 80; deputies contacted subjects who advised nothing became physical. No offense occurred.

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Wade, runaway juvenile; parents located juvenile, deputies spoke with juvenile who was advised of future consequences if she ran away again.

Sgt. Williams, dog bite, Winnsboro ER; victim advised her own dog bit her at her house, dog not up on vaccine records, will be quarantined.

December 26

Deputy Cato, animal complaint, CR 2150; victim advised while riding bike he was approached by aggressive dogs. Deputy contacted dog owners where dogs showed signs of aggression, neighbors advised to keep dogs contained. 

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Pollard, vehicle accident, FM 2088. On scene, deputies located driver who was ejected from vehicle and was deceased. 

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Wade, physical disturbance, FM 778; caller got into argument with son, she slapped him, he slapped her back. Neither wished to pursue charges.
