Deputy Pollard, warrant service, Adult Probation. Stephen Mooney arrested for outstanding warrant.

Cpl. Croney, Deputy Whisenhunt, animal welfare concern; deputies observed three dogs with severe mange, owner advised to have them medicated, follow up will be completed.

Deputy Cato, burglary, FM 1795; property owner advised multiple storage units broken into, will contact renters to see if items missing.

Deputies assisted Quitman PD with warrant service; subject located, transported to jail.

Cpl. Burdick, welfare concern, CR 2482; landlord cut off subject’s water, electricity, subject Billy Boyd found to have active warrant, placed in custody, landlord contacted, advised would turn water, electricity back on. 

May 9

Deputy Pollard, warrant service, Yantis. Sgt. Sepulvado, Deputy McGee performing civil service when they observed subject with active warrant. Amanda Sullivan arrested for active warrant.

Deputy Pollard, welfare check; caller advised church member making suicidal statements, deputies located subject who confirmed statements, voluntarily wanted to seek treatment. EMS transported subject to receive treatment.

Deputy Whisenhunt, Deputy Cato, disturbance; caller advised boyfriend’s brother who is mentally handicapped was acting irate, struck her, deputies located subject, transported to receive treatment.

May 10

Sgt. Cox, Cpl. Rapp, welfare check, FM 17; caller advised carbon monoxide alarm had been going off for several hours inside RV, deputies unable to see all parts of camper from window. Alba fire dept. entered residence, deceased subject located.

Deputy Skinner, damage to property; caller advised employee caused damage to vehicle, will gather all information, file report at later date.

Cpl. Rapp, theft; caller advised subject stole phone a week ago, gained access to online banking, social media, will provide photos of withdrawals, report will be completed.

Deputy Skinner, criminal mischief, CR 2264; male subject pulled up, fired multiple paint ball bullets at vehicle, subject removed paint, no damage to vehicle. 

May 11

Cpl. Rapp, criminal mischief, FM 14; caller observed subject in vehicle spray paint stop sign, caller photographed suspects’ vehicle, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Comeaux, disturbance; while caller on private road, neighbor in mule pulling wagon would not let him pass, wagon driver threatened to harm him, wagon driver advised subject did not give him time to pull over, sped by almost striking buggy, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputies, vehicle accident, Hwy. 37; one motorcycle driver flown to hospital, other refused treatment.

Deputy Haley, disturbance, CR 3848; deputy located aggressor in front yard, highly intoxicated, detained due to belligerent, aggressive behavior. Chad Carter arrested for assault by threat, interference with public duties. 

May 12

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Skinner, structure fire, CR 3870; homeowner advised he started fire on purpose as attempted suicide, subject transported to receive treatment.

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Way, disturbance, FM 14; suspect punched out window, grabbed piece of mirror, acted as if he was going to throw it at brother. Letecia Munoz arrested for assault by threat.

Cpl. Rapp, suspicious activity, CR 4631; caller advised he had evidence of subject doing suspicious activities after deputies completed security checks, provided photos of subject walking down road with ladder, never returned. 

May 13

Cpl. Croney, 911 hang up; unknown male advised he was instructed to kill, deputies went to subject’s house previously over similar statements. Contact made with possible suspect who relayed same information to neighbor, subject transported to receive treatment.

Deputy Cato, possible fraud; caller contacted by Carvana stating someone purchased car in her name, also contacted by LifeLock advising suspicious activity, offense report completed.

Deputy Whisenhunt, possible fraud; caller advised subject embezzled property from her deceased mother, caller’s attorney advised her to file report.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Williams, disturbance; caller did not want deputies going into residence, contacting suspect, advised she would evict the male.

May 14

Deputy Pollard, damage to property; caller advised employee caused $18,000 in damages to company vehicle, was advised it was civil issue, incident report completed.

Cpl. Croney, warrant service, Adult Probation; James Cox arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Pollard, burglary; caller advised she was renovating property, burglarized multiple times, did not have camera footage or list of missing items.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Cato, suicidal subject; caller’s son made threats to harm them and himself, subject stated he would fight officers if they attempted to take him to hospital, after short struggle, subject detained, transported to receive treatment.

Deputy Rich observed subject Dumpster diving in Yantis; Eddy Johnson found to have active warrants, during search of vehicle, baggie containing crystal-like substance located, arrested for outstanding warrant, possession of controlled substance.
