May 22

Deputy Whisenhunt, possible mental episode, Holly Lake Ranch; caller’s brother having mental episode, en route to guard shack with revolver, subject returned to residence, deputies did not locate firearm, subject did not want to harm himself.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Williams, armed subject, Hwy. 80; caller observed male with rifle point it across traffic toward tree line, deputies did not locate subject.

Deputy Rich responded to Camp County for subject with Wood County warrant. Termanie Bell arrested for outstanding warrant, later found to have active pardons and parole warrant.

May 23 

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, warrant service, CR 2146; Candice Mochman arrested for active warrants.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, possible assault, CR 2122; suspect left scene of disturbance, returned, threw oil on victim, suspect advised returned to residence, did not throw anything at victim, deputies attempted to contact victim again, not located. 

Deputy Pollard, burglary of building, CR 4760; someone possibly broke into shed, took items, did not have list of missing items, advised to call back.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy George, suicidal subject, Lake Holbrook; caller’s friend sending alarming messages about causing self-harm, deputies located subject in vehicle, detained him, became upset, transported to receive treatment.

May 24

Cpl. Rapp, warrant service, Adult Probation; Brandi Taylor arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Nichols, missing juvenile; parents advised  son left residence, did not know where he was after checking multiple locations, Quitman PD located subject walking, taken to the Sheriff’s Office, parents picked him up.

Capt. Chilson, Lt. Milbourn, Cpl. Rapp, structure fire, CR 4150; deputies assisted extinguishing flames, located dog in residence.

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Way, agency assist, Hawkins; Hawkins PD received multiple 911 calls from subject who advised he was armed, dealing with people trying to break into house. Deputies had responded to address multiple times previously for same incident. Hawkins PD able to get situation resolved by having male stay with friend for a while.

May 25

Cpl. Rapp, theft of firearm; caller advised firearm stolen from motel, believes stolen by janitor, once caller provides serial number, will be entered as stolen.

Sgt. Cox, theft, CR 1301; caller had package delivered to mailbox, package missing. 

Cpl. Rapp, shots fired, CR 1792; caller advised back window struck by projectile, neighbor shooting firearm, neighbor advised he was shooting firearm in opposite direction. 

Sgt. Cox, vehicle fire, CR 1840; victim advised grandkids riding ATV, piece of clothing possibly fell on exhaust causing fire.

May 26

Cpl. Rapp, damage to property, FM 312; neighbors shooting guns, shot hole in barn, neighbors advised were not home when shooting occurred.

Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Skinner, child walking on road; child advised mother was asleep, left house, parents contacted, were asleep, child snuck out.

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Comeaux, disturbance, Holiday Village; physical altercation. Kathryn O’Conner arrested for assault.

Cpl. Smith, theft; caller fishing at Lake Holbrook, male stole purse, provided description of suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

May 27

Deputies responded to Walmart for agency assist. Mineola PD advised multiple subjects fighting their officers, three subjects detained, arrested.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Rich, welfare check, Hawkins; caller’s girlfriend left with kids after disturbance, possibly intoxicated, subject not located at hotel, caller also concerned about possible warrant, deputies confirmed she was not wanted.

Deputy Rich, intoxicated pedestrian, Mineola; Jesse Gilbreath, found to be intoxicated, arrested for public intoxication.

May 28

Deputy Whisenhunt, environmental issue, Hwy. 182; caller observed septic truck possibly dumping fluids into creek, deputy spoke with driver who advised he was pumping water out of creek due to oil spill up stream, appropriate agencies contacted, advised they would be investigating.

Deputy Pollard, subject squatting; property owner advised male squatting on property, wanted him removed, allowed subject to stay until weather cleared, issued criminal trespass warning.

Deputy Rich, theft of electricity, Hwy. 80; property owner observed electric cord plugged into building going to tent where subject was squatting, deputies unable to contact subject.

Deputy Williams, harassment, Winnsboro PD; victim’s ex-boyfriend texting, threatening her, asked to stop multiple times, he would get new number each time old number blocked, victim’s family also receiving harassing messages from suspect, offense report completed.
