July 17

Deputy Pollard, criminal mischief, Holiday Village; caller’s neighbor shooting at feral cats previous night, next morning observed car windshield broken, believes neighbor caused damage, agreement made between parties. 

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, warrant service, FM 49; Dustin Willoughby arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Rich, disturbance, CR 3269; parties advised husband and wife got into argument over child custody, another male threatened by husband wished to pursue charges, suspect left prior to deputies’ arrival, case forwarded to investigations.

July 18

Deputy Tucker flagged down by passerby, made aware of verbal altercation between male and female, subjects contacted, female advised male, under the influence, became irate, took female’s phone, unwanted contact made. Andrew Wilson arrested for assault by contact.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Rich, disturbance, CR 3540; female pushed caller after getting into argument, suspect Casey Bright checked for warrants, had active warrant for assault, transported to jail.

Deputy Rich observed juvenile walking down Hwy. 37; juvenile admitted sneaking out of residence, returned to residence, guardians contacted.

July 19 

Sgt. Cox, theft, Hwy. 154; victim had RV at storage lot, noticed items missing when he checked on it, provided list of missing items, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Croney, forgery; subject advised bank where she works received multiple fraudulent checks from subject, offense report completed.

Deputy Nichols, theft, FM 2659; caller advised while family out of town on vacation, had someone clean house, when they returned, noticed cash missing, confronted cleaner who denied taking money, case forwarded to investigations.

July 20

Cpl. Rapp, suspicious circumstance, CR 1411; caretaker for elderly lady in hospital advised subject’s sister has taken items from residence that she was told not to take, caller did not have serial numbers for missing items, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Nichols, burglary, FM 14; church member advised someone broke into front door, shattered glass, no signs of anything missing, case forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Cox, animal complaint, Hwy. 37; when caller returned home, found dog deceased in yard, believed neighbor’s dogs may have attacked his, has had issues with them in the past, neighbor contacted, both dogs observed tied up at residence.

Deputy Nichols, criminal mischief, Holly Lake Ranch; dogs began barking, when caller went outside, noticed damage to car door as if someone tried to pry open, did not observe anything missing.

Deputy Way, theft, Holly Lake Ranch; ex-boyfriend stole caller’s clothes and phone after argument, offense report completed.

July 21

Cpl. Rapp, agency assist, Quitman; Quitman PD received call from male that someone was trying to shoot him, subject showed where suspect was standing in woods, deputies unable to see anyone, subject transported by EMS to receive treatment for possible hallucinations.

Sgt. Cox, Cpl. Rapp, agency assist, Alba PD; Alba PD received call on previous subject in Quitman for same incident, subject’s girlfriend advised he became irate, jumped out of vehicle, transported by EMS. 

Deputy Comeaux, possible assault; caller advised son had been assaulted by kid in neighborhood, asked if report could be made, made aware of options, advised he would attempt to handle it with other parents.

July 22

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Rapp, criminal mischief, Alba; deputy observed suspect exiting residence who did not have permission to enter, suspect emptied pockets, two baggies containing crystal-like substance came out. Douglas Mcbridge arrested for burglary of habitation and possession of controlled substance.

Deputy Whisenhunt, burglary of a vehicle, CR 2210; someone rummaged through vehicle during night, did not appear anything missing, seven other vehicles  burglarized in area.

July 23

Deputy Pollard, theft, CR 3990; someone stole multiple items from residence, possible suspect provided, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Burdick, burglary, CR 2169; someone broke into shed, working on list of missing items due to shed being ransacked, offense report was completed.

Deputies, disturbance in progress, Holiday Village; multiple subjects in caller’s garage, one had firearm, deputies observed multiple subjects acting belligerent toward deputies, when deputies attempted to detain male subject, he resisted, fell to the ground. Mitchelle Williamson arrested for assault, resist arrest, and interfere with public duties.
