Deputy Pollard, theft, FM 852; someone stole mower from residence, offense report completed.

Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Morrison, burglary of vehicle, CR 2231; male subject entered vehicle, took multiple items, video footage and list of possible suspects provided, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Haley, Deputy George, reckless driver, Hwy. 154; 18-wheeler following caller too closely, made him miss turn, when caller got out of vehicle to confront driver, he pulled pistol, never pointed it at victim, no offense occurred.

August 1 

Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Pollard, mobile disturbance with shots fired, Hwy. 154; vehicle following caller, shooting at her, deputies stopped suspect’s vehicle, drug paraphernalia, empty shell casings observed, suspect advised he was assaulted by occupant of vehicle he was chasing. Travis Toledo arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cpl. Croney, criminal mischief, Hwy. 154; vehicle backed into caller’s vehicle, drove off, suspect’s name on food order was provided, offense report completed. 

Deputy Haley, Deputy George, disturbance, CR 1879; landlord advised he gave tenants eviction notice, they did not plan to comply, follow up will be completed due to dogs in house who were not shown to have active vaccination records.

August 2

Sgt. Cox, warrant service, Adult Probation. Robert Gibson arrested for outstanding warrant.

Cpl. Rapp, criminal mischief, CR 1858; caller’s neighbor backed into mailbox, causing damage again, deputy unable to make contact with neighbor.

Deputy Smith, criminal trespass; property owner recently had land survey, neighbor has fence on property, notified neighbor of new property line, neighbor has crossed line multiple times, deputies unable to make contact with neighbor.

August 3

Cpl. Rapp, suspicious activity, Hwy. 37; neighbor has been plugging in extension cord to caller’s exterior plug, subject advised he does not have permission to use caller’s electricity.

Sgt. Cox, suspicious circumstance, CR 4850; caller’s window unit missing from shed, had been pushed through window, one item missing.

Cpl. Rapp, debit card abuse; caller’s husband in jail, friend took debit card, made unauthorized charges, victim advised he did not give anyone permission to use card, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Way, deadly conduct, CR 3984; several subjects came to residence while victim outside, one pointed gun at her, several others made gestures, offense report completed, awaiting security camera footage.

August 4

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Skinner, disturbance, CR 3909; suspect fled into woods, had active warrant. Jason Alexander arrested for outstanding warrant.

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Skinner, physical disturbance; during argument, victim hit in head with door by suspect. Norman Potts arrested for assault. 

Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Smith, suspicious vehicle, FM 2869; vehicle abandoned for several hours, no one around, came back as stolen, appropriate agency notified.

Deputy Way, disturbance, CR 1943; caller and girlfriend got into argument, she shot him with BB gun. Diann Saenz arrested for assault.

Deputy Way, theft, Yantis; someone stole window unit, other items off porch.

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Way, disturbance, FM 17; parties advised nothing physical occurred, Reba Davis found to have active warrant, placed in custody. 

August 5

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, suicidal subject, Lake Quitman; subject advised he had taken multiple pills, when EMS arrived, subject became unresponsive, transported to receive treatment.

Deputy Comeaux, structure fire; camper owner had gone to hospital for burns, witness advised they observed flames coming from under counter near oven, attempted to put out, were unsuccessful, camper owner received burns. 

Deputy Comeaux, criminal mischief; victim observed scratches on vehicle, items missing from residence, provided list of possible suspects who were at residence right before items went missing, offense report will be completed upon receiving list of items.

August 6

Sgt. Morrison, violation of protection order, Private Road 5860; subject who had protection order came to residence, another involved subject met suspect down road away from residence, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Croney, suspicious circumstance, Hawkins; caller’s husband had been taking expired medications from nursing home, burning them at his residence, deputies observed large bag full of expired medications, appropriate agency contacted.

Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Morrison, possible stolen vehicle; victim advised vehicle stolen in another county, deputies located vehicle, driver, Billy Clark, had multiple active warrants, placed in custody,  bag of crystal-like substance located in vehicle. 

Cpl. Rich, wanted subject, Holiday Village; male subject with warrant came to caller’s residence threatening to break into storage unit to retrieve tent, deputies located subject, Nelson Driver, found to have active warrant, placed in custody.
