September 24
Deputies performed warrant service, Hawkins; located wanted subject, Caiden Pruitt, at his residence, placed in custody for active warrant.
Deputy Way, suspicious person, Private Road 5552; located subject dancing in roadway. Leticia Munoz arrested for public intoxication.
Deputy Haney, missing firearm; caller advised firearm missing, firearm information provided, entered as stolen.
September 25
Deputy Smith, Deputy Vanatta, follow up, CR 2380; deputies previously received call stating O’Reilly’s advised them they possibly had stolen engine in vehicle, deputies along with the Auto Theft Task Force examined vehicle, discovered it had multiple falsified VIN plates, vehicle towed, entering agency notified.
Deputy Whisenhunt, check fraud, Hawkins; store manager advised they received check that has been used at multiple locations in several states, offense report completed.
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, Deputy Vanatta, disturbance, CR 2210; prior to deputies arrival, suspect fled scene, victim advised his ex-girlfriend assaulted him causing bodily injury, deputies searched area, did not locate suspect, offense report completed.
September 26
Deputy Knox, burglary, CR 1843; during the night someone stole firearm from truck, awaiting identifying information for firearm.
Deputy Hammond, suspicious subject, CR 3470; subject walking on wrong side of road, began to resist deputy, placed in custody, transported to ER due to medical concerns.
Sgt. Skinner, Deputy Haney, dispute, CR 2251; victim just got new truck, riding around in it with other family members, neighbor became upset they were driving, pulled gun on them, offense report completed.
September 27
Deputy Haley, Mineola PD, suspicious person; EMS contacted due to subject showing signs of dementia, deputies called multiple agencies until they located phone number to family members, subject transported by EMS to receive treatment.
Sgt. Cox, Deputy Hammond, suspicious person, FM 2869; subject walking in roadway naked, male appeared to be under influence of narcotics, EMS responded, transported the subject, family member contacted Sheriff’s Office to report son missing, updated on situation.
Deputies responded to Quitman ER for subject who walked out of ER. Dillon Bell arrested for public intoxication.
September 28
Deputy Knox, criminal mischief, CR 3580; caller was renting property, landlord allowed someone to move in before he could get all his stuff out, new tenant drug caller’s truck to back of property, causing damage, offense report completed.
Deputy Knox, criminal mischief, CR 1843; during the night someone slashed truck tires, possible suspect provided, offense report completed.
Deputy Hammond, child in roadway, CR 2770; deputies secured child until parent arrived, mother advised father was supposed to be watching child, due to medicine he was taking, fell asleep often, CPS contacted.
Deputy Knox, assault; caller is a mail carrier, person blocked road, would not let him pass, suspect had shotgun, threw a beer on mail carrier, offense report completed.
Sgt. Cox, burglary, FM 17; owner got notification of movement from security camera, showed someone entering building, took money, offense report completed.
Deputies performed warrant service, CR 2782. Walynn Monasco arrested for active warrant of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
September 29
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, Deputy Smith, disturbance, CR 3250; caller’s sons came to where she was sleeping, tried to assault her, deputies discovered subject possibly under the influence, other residents on property advised subject possibly under the influence.
CID, Deputy Smith, welfare concern, Hawkins, female at vet clinic would not leave, subject had left an assisted living earlier in day, began walking in town. EMS transported subject to receive treatment.
September 30
Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Vanatta, animal seizure, CR 1660; 17 dogs removed from residence, traps set for other dogs that could not be caught while on scene.
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Vanatta, disturbance, FM 312; Gracie Elmore assaulted male by striking him, arrested for assault family violence.
Deputy Smith, Deputy Vanatta, disturbance, FM 1799; caller advised her husband stripped down, attempted to press himself on her, he restricted her from calling 911, crystal-like substance also located. Ronald Polley arrested for indecent assault, interference with 911 call, possession of controlled substance.
Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Vanatta, burglary, CR 3250; caller advised daughter-in-law attempting to gain access to residence, subject had active bond restrictions. Chrystal Hobbs arrested for violation of bond conditions.
Deputy Smith, theft, FM 17; during last few days someone stole four-wheeler from residence, entered as stolen.
Deputy Gloar, disturbance, CR 4470; caller and husband in verbal dispute, he left prior to deputy’s arrival, husband was observed driving at high rate of speed down county road, slid into driveway, did donuts in yard. Sean Briscoe arrested for reckless driving.
