October 1

Deputy Haley, suspicious person, FM 1801; male showed up at residence, spoke to juvenile niece, was asked to leave, returned to residence, asked if he could date the juvenile, address added to extra patrol. 

Deputy Hammond, agency assist; Smith County asked if deputy could check VIN on vehicle that had been towed, deputy located vehicle, ran VIN which came back as stolen, Smith County advised. 

Sgt. Skinner, Deputy Tustin, assault, FM 312; victim assaulted by her son. Leland Pyron arrested for assault family violence. 

Deputies performed warrant service, Hwy. 69. Brandon Rogers arrested on active warrant. 

Deputies performed warrant service, Hwy. 154. Amber Goldsmith arrested on active warrant. 

Deputy Williams, Deputy Swann, theft, CR 4930; property owner advised two subjects stole copper, video footage provided, offense report completed. 

October 2

Deputy Knox, suspicious circumstance; caller advised father sells hay, a business has bought hay from him three times, all the checks have bounced, requested payment from business, they refused. 

Deputy Hammond, suspicious person, FM 17; female in parking lot screaming, acting erratic. Leticia Munoz arrested for public intoxication. 

Sgt. Skinner, 911 text; juvenile advised they had been sent nude photos from older male, juvenile’s parents checked the phone, claims were false. 

October 3

Deputy Smith, traffic stop, FM 1804; odor of marijuana detected, driver showed signs of impairment, standard field sobriety tests denied, David Osornio arrested for DWI 3rd or more. 

Cpl. Rich, disturbance, CR 1987; caller observed neighbor strike his girlfriend and one of their children, parties advised nothing physical occurred, female and children transported to wait for ride home. 

Deputy Vanatta, damage to property, Hwy. 37; caller pulled into parking lot, low hanging phone line got caught in their wheels. Quitman Fire removed vehicle from the lines. 

October 4

Sgt. Morrison, assault, CR 1900; while caller was watching her boyfriend work, his husband showed up,  threw bottle at her, parties advised they were separating, would not be around each other again, offense report completed. 

Deputy Smith, damaged property, CR 2210; after hearing loud explosion and having AC looked at, caller discovered his AC unit had been shot, deputies attempted contact with neighbor with no response, offense report completed. 

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, Deputy Vanatta, disturbance, CR 2275; multiple parties advised male subject had outburst, pushed multiple people in the family. To prevent further violence, Christopher Lee arrested for assault family violence. 

October 5

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, CR 3440; victim had motorcycle sitting out with for sale, someone drove off with it, entered as stolen, offense report completed. 

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Vanatta, disturbance, Hwy. 37; deputies discovered female pushed another female out of residence, after getting both sides of story, one subject issued citation for assault. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, found handgun, Hwy. 154; deputy retrieved firearm for safe keeping. 

October 6

Deputy Hammond, pedestrian stop, FM 17; deputy observed female step into roadway and prevent traffic from moving. Leticia Munoz arrested for obstruction of roadway. 

Deputy Haley; warrant service, Adult Probation. Ron Chapman arrested on active warrant. 

Deputy Haley, warrant service, Adult Probation. Adrian Kendrick arrested on active warrant. 

October 7

Deputy Hammond observed vehicle blocking driveway, FM 1801; property owner who advised they would like vehicle removed, vehicle was towed out of driveway. 

Deputies, CID, County Road 2378, suicidal subject; dispatch received information from FBI regarding male subject threatening to harm himself with weapon, deputies responded to subject’s residence, searched area, later learned he was possibly in another county, deputies remained on AGISD campus to ensure students’ safety. 

Deputy Knox; caller had multiple civil issue concerns with assisted living.
