Agency assist, Hwy. 69. Two-vehicle accident, both vehicles inside, one occupant trapped. Deputies assisted with traffic control. 

Deputy Haney, Deputy Nichols, suspicious circumstance, FM 69. Freddy Rodriguez arrested for violation of court order. 

March 5

Deputy Haley, dog bite, CR 2140. Caller said daughter bit by neighbor’s dog; contact made with dog owner, discovered dog’s shots expired. Dog will be quarantined, given updated shots. 

Deputy Swann, found property, PR 7108. Caller located firearm when cleaning property of deceased tenant. Firearm retrieved for safekeeping. 

Deputy Williams, Deputy Tustin, found firearm, Hawkins. Rifle fake, taken to prevent further calls. 

March 6

Deputy Smith, dog bite, CR 2950. Caller said son bit by their dog, vaccination records will be provided. 

Sgt. Rich, disturbance, Hwy. 80. Caller said tenant who moved out two weeks prior trying to locate more of her belongings, tenant given criminal trespass warning for property. 

Deputy Gloar, damage to property call, Hwy. 37. Caller said someone cut valve stems off truck, offense report completed. 

March 7

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, CR 3264. Caller said man did work on house, requested more money after completion; caller missing several tools, believes helper took them. Offense report completed. 

Deputy Smith, Deputy Hammond, assault in progress, FM 17. Jimmy Hicks arrested for assault. 

Deputy Gloar, disturbance, CR 2921. Caller said fiancé intoxicated, had assaulted people including herself. Subject also assaulted officer during contact. Nathan Brock arrested for assault and assault on a peace officer. 

Deputy Vanatta, unruly person, Jarvis College. Male subject in public area highly intoxicated. Christon Hines arrested for public intoxication. 

March 8

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, CR 2724. Victim said trailer stolen off property, offense report will be completed upon receiving trailer information. 

Deputy Smith, assault report. Victim said assaulted by grandmother at store and on the way home in car. Report completed, CPS contacted. 

March 9

Deputy Swann, theft call. Caller said purchased equipment, sold it, buyer only made one payment, caller could not provide information on items, not original purchaser, follow-up will be completed. 

Deputy Haney, Deputy Nichols, theft report. Victim said items stolen from residence. Offense report completed. 

Deputy Williams, Deputy Tustin, shots fired, CR 2943. No foul play occurred, victim transported by EMS to receive treatment. 

March 10

Deputy Swann, suspicious circumstance, Hwy. 154. Caller said male subject hiding gun under pile of rocks, contact made with subject, 12.8 grams of crystal-like substance located on person, Benjamin Howard arrested for possession of a controlled substance. 

Deputy Haley, warrant service, Adult Probation. Sara Walls arrested on active warrant. 

Sgt. Cox, theft report. Caller said contacted by agency that said their equipment pawned, caller said previous employee stole items, sold them. Offense report completed. 

Deputy Swann, burglary. Caller said someone placed socks over security cameras, entered residence, stole items. Case will be forwarded to investigations. 

Deputy Swann, subject asleep in vehicle, CR 1483. Samuel Morris arrested for violation of bond conditions, possession of drug paraphernalia, and open container. 

Warrant service, CR 2164. Cory Waits arrested on active warrant.
