Warrant service, Adult Probation. Richard Morgan arrested on active warrant. 

Deputy Gloar, suspicious circumstance, Hwy. 37. Caller said, while gone, notified of teenagers possibly trying to break into residence. Deputies did not observe damage. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, welfare check, Holly Lake Ranch. Caller said has not heard from mother, deputies made contact, subject said daughter has issues, has been contacting family members about her, daughter updated. 

March 12

Sgt. Williams, assault, PR 7850. Victim said son assaulted him. Levi Moss arrested for assault family violence. 

Deputy Vanatta, warrant service. Roy Oliphant arrested on active warrant. 

Deputy Gloar, welfare concern, CR 2166. Caller said female walking down road. Contact made with subject who said did not feel safe at residence, transported to Sheriff’s Office until family member could take her home. 

March 13

Sgt. Cox, vehicle fire. Vehicle owner said coming home, pulled in, noticed truck smoking. Fire marshal notified. 

Shots fired call. Caller said shot wife; deputies located victim, transported by EMS to receive treatment. Roderick Everett arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

March 14

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Haley, suspicious person, FM 14. Caller said male walking around her property, Matthew Wick arrested on active warrant. 

Deputy Williams, Deputy Haney, Deputy Nichols, assault, Holiday Village. Victim said intoxicated husband assaulted her. Jason Vogt arrested for assault family violence, CPS contacted. 

March 15

Disturbance, Hwy. 154. Caller said neighbors fighting for a while, tired of noise. Deputies contacted subjects, agreed to separate. 

Deputy Nichols, suspicious circumstance, Yantis. Caller said neighbor digging in her trash; deputies discovered subject has been going through community trash dumpster, is not invading caller’s privacy. 

Sgt. Cox, dog bite, Winnsboro ER. Mother of victim said having party, when dog fed, became aggressive, attacked child. Vaccination records will be provided. 

March 16

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Whisenhunt, assault, Hwy. 80. Victim said daughter walked up to her, started yelling, assaulted her. Victim transported to receive treatment, suspect not located in area, offense report completed. 

Dog bite, Holiday Village. Deputies cared for child until EMS arrived, dog owner said dog would be put down. 

Sgt. Williams, theft, CR 3455. Victim said she and boyfriend stayed at cabin overnight, when she woke up, he was gone with her belongings. Offense report completed. 

March 17

Deputy Hammond, suspicious person, CR 4490. Caller said male walking around on his property, urinating. Jacob Wages arrested for evading arrest and disorderly conduct. 

Deputy Way, fraud call. Caller said fuel card used at gas station, requested security footage from station, offense report completed. 

Deputy Way, fraud call. Caller said lost wallet, someone tried to use card at nearby store, offense report completed.
