July 15
Sgt Williams responded to a theft on FM 14. The victim advised someone stole multiple tools from his storage unit. An offense report was completed.
Deputies assisted a nearby agency in Alba after receiving information that a stolen vehicle was possibly in the area. Deputies located the stolen vehicle and the suspect was taken into custody.
Deputy Vanatta responded to a theft in Hawkins. The caller advised someone stole a pistol from his truck. The pistol was entered as stolen.
July 16
Sgt Williams took a request to speak by phone. The caller advised road signs have been stolen in the area multiple times. Deputies were provided suspect information.
Deputy Swann and Deputy Netherland responded to a criminal mischief call in Alba. The caller advised someone damaged her mailbox. An offense report was completed.
July 17
Sgt Cox responded to a missing person on County Road 1555. The caller advised a neighbor saw her leave on a bicycle that morning and she had not returned home. A locate message was broadcast in an attempt to locate the subject.
Deputy Haley and Deputy Knox responded to a disturbance on Hwy 154. Upon arrival, all parties advised they had been involved in a physical altercation resulting in minor injuries. Neither party wished to pursue charges.
July 18
Deputy Smith responded to a theft on FM 49. The caller advised he loaned a trailer hitch to a neighbor who refused to return it. An offense report was completed.
Deputies responded to a welfare concern on County Road 3148. The caller advised a friend reported a roommate had killed multiple puppies and threatened to harm others. Deputies attempted to make contact with the subject but received no response. Entry was made into the residence, where deputies discovered the male subject had fled before they arrived.
July 19
Deputy Way issued a BOLO for a male subject with active warrants. The subject was later located in Johnson County and arrested on five active warrants.
Deputy Smith and Deputy Way responded to a disturbance on County Road 1681. The caller advised a male subject assaulted him. Eric Gonzales was arrested for assault-family violence.
Deputy Williams and Deputy Knox performed a warrant service on County Road 1681. Sterling Marino was arrested on an active warrant.
July 20
Deputy Hammond took a request to speak by phone. The caller advised her vehicle had been towed and, when she recovered it, discovered someone had gone through the vehicle and multiple items were missing. An offense report was completed.
Deputy Hammond took a harassment report by phone. The caller advised she recently moved and family members have continued sending harassing messages. Screenshots of the messages will be provided and a report was completed.
Deputy Whisenhunt took a violation of a protective order report by phone. The caller advised she received multiple text messages from her ex-husband, who has an active protective order in place. An offense report was completed.
July 21
Deputy Hammond took a burglary report by phone. The caller advised they returned home to discover someone had broken into the residence and items were scattered throughout the house. The caller did not believe anything was stolen.
Deputies performed a warrant service in Holly Lake Ranch. The suspect fled on foot after being located. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
