Burning ban lifted
Wood County Judge Kevin White lifted the outdoor burning ban Tuesday afternoon.
The order, effective Sept. 26, says the Texas Forest Service finds drought conditions have subsided and the County Judge and Fire Marshal agree, so burning may resume. more

When all was said and done, auctioneer Kelly Conley had coaxed $35,925 from bidders at the 57th annual Mineola Hay Show last Tuesday.
